Red Car Chapel Tour

The Missionaries are teaching the Primary Song
"Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree"
These are 4-5 year old school children coming
to Red Car Chapel for a Field Trip. We called it a Chapel Tour. We showed them a Choose the Right video, taught them a Primary Song, gave them a coloring book and a little bag of popcorn.
We also gave them each a CTR ring.

Elder Stapley talking to the children as they are preparing to
go back to the school in the rain!

Does everyone have their coats on and their yellow
safety vests on?

Guess who met the Queen today?

Goathland -The Train Station where Harry Potter I was filmed.

This is Goathland Train Station. This is where the first Harry Potter was filmed.

This little station is very small and they have
kept it in its unique atmosphere of old fashion time.
Look for the milk cans in the film.

Steam Engine getting ready to go.

We rode on the old Steam Engine train. This is David and Kathryn Beevers. We are in an old train car.  Just like Harry Potter rode on! Notice the racks above their heads and the window has a leather strap with holes to pull it up or down. The conductor came by to punch our tickets.  We had our private room with the door and hallway off to the side. I am taking the picture in the hallway looking in.

The blossom of the wild garlic close up.
I asked if they used this to cook with.
Kathryn said they do not.
This is Wild Garlic. We could smell the garlic
as we walked by.

                                                         Old English house
Posing for a picture as we went on our hike.
Beautiful and green country

Church of England in Goathland. They still meet here every week

.
Every old Church has a cemetery right in the church yard
It is pretty cool to see. The headstones are very old.
